The Gnome-Mobile, By Walt Disney And Upton Sinclair

How many lives did you ruin, Julie Andrews? Just tell me. Go ahead, how many?

If you ever wondered what happened to the half of the cast of Mary Poppins, that didn't end up in Herbie The Love Bug, look no farther than the 1967 Disney--um, classic isn't quite the right word--live action film, The Gnome-Mobile. Based on the screenplay adaptation of the novel of the same name, both by--I need to sit down--Upton Sinclair.

If that's not enough for you, here's an extended clip of a gnome wife market scene, dubbed into Italian. Molto Upton!

I keep waiting for Shatner to show up and reveal this as a lost episode of Star Trek: The Original Series.

Answering the age-old question, how many gnomes can you fit in a Rolls?

I may have to buy the comic adaptation http://www.amazon.com/MOVIE-COMICS-GNOME-MOBILE-4-0/dp/B004DKEH1Q/
