Leopard Prints Valiant

Safeway Valiant, originally uploaded by Telstar Logistics.

Todd spotted this clean 1964 Plymouth Valiant wagon at a local, vintage Safeway a few months back, and I just spotted the Britax car seat in it this morning.

If I remember my Mopar history correctly, there were seat belts, but LATCH was not a factory-installed option on the '64 Valiant wagons. And neither is the leopard print seat cover. Or the mags. [via Telstar Logistics]

Modern wagons don't even come close to this era of American automobile. I love the bent glass on the rear left and right sides. I also wish my Subaru Forester had the retractable rear window like that.
