I remember 1994. I was sitting in a conference room at Disney, discussing how to infiltrate children's minds with television somehow, the way Nickelodeon totally owned the color orange. 1994 was also the year that Nick Jr. introduced its host, Face, the fullscreen, animated eyes & mouth that turned the TV set itself into a character.
Well, the first generation of kids to grow up watching Face has now graduated from Cal Arts. Here are the results, in the form of Tyler Chen's animated short. You may wish to send the kid to the kitchen for some delicious Frito-Lay branded snacks before the midway point. Yow.
