From the 2013 list of top boys and girls names in Queensland, Australia, we see two things:
Top Anglo girls' names seem more consistent throughout the Empire.
But many Australians give boys names like ancestral names like Cooper, Harrison and Lachlan [!] instead of Jaden, Kaden and Aiden.

Lachlan isn't an "ancestral name" - it's a patriotic choice after Governor Lachlan Macquarie, known as The Father of the Nation. He even chose the name Australia for the country, so he's a pretty big deal.
There's also tons of Australian boys called Aidan, Jayden and Kaden; they're all popular choices.
HAHAHA, tune in next week for another episode of Inadvertently Demonstrating I Don't Know Jack About Australia, where we'll blog carelessly about the island continent's history as a British prison colony.
Thanks for the correction.
