Artists' Kids Always Have The Best Rooftop Treehouses

As if the guy who built an inflatable pipe organ as big as a football field could imagine any less. Sculptor Tim Hawkinson and his daughter started designing a treehouse when she was about 5. Now that she's 9, her tree/rooftop getaway has made its first published appearance, in the NY TImes' T Magazine.

there was something about an umbrella for a roof.
