Gilbert & George Puzzle

gilbert_george_puzzle_antiq.jpg

The British artist duo Gilbert & George produced this puzzle, Death After Life, for their 1987 retrospective, "Gilbert & George: The Complete Pictures," which started at the Palacio de Velazquez in Madrid.

The pieces are actually just square tiles that make up an unusually kid-friendly panorama. There are 176 pieces, don't go losing any.

Galerie Bucholz has a copy of Death After Life for around $70 shipped [abebooks, that's their image above, btw, with all the pieces]
Heart Fine Art wants 95 pounds plus shipping for their Gilbert & George puzzle [heartfineart.com]
