Maybe it was less noticeable in the oak finish, but there sure is a lot of hardware in Gerrit Rietveld's Zig Zig high chair. I hope it came already assembled.
This white painted version of the 1940 design was sold this week at Sotheby's by the original owner, who'd purchased it in the early 1960s from Gerard van de Groenekan, the former Rietveld apprentice responsible for most of the furniture production. Twenty five thousand dollars, twice the high estimate. Yow.

Man. You'd be cleaning spaghetti and applesauce out of those little holes for hours. Also, I'm pretty sure my little'un would kick it over backwards and concuss herself in about two and a half minutes.
