Oxford human advancement ethicist Julian Savulescu apparently believes that we should be optimizing the genes of the kids we make. He says so in this Philosophy Bites podcast, which I confess, I haven't listened to yet, but which I believe will be found to be extra-persuasive on account of the participants' high-end accents.
