America Needs Charter Schools Or Whatever

Homework? Traveling sports? College application padding? What the hell is up with American public schools? Because cartoonist d-bag and online crank Scott Adams has had enough:

When I'm president, I will use the power of persuasion to encourage schools to adopt the best practices of the Charter Schools. I'm assuming Charter Schools have less homework and fewer unnecessary competitions on the road. But more generally, I'll follow whatever direction the science points to.

The science points to Charter schools being a racket. And what he's describing is the public-private school phenomenon. There are millions of public schools around the US that wish they had these upper-middle-class people problems.
