Take a moment to honor the Los Angeles-based seller of this beautiful 1964 Jaguar XKE, who has provided it with a decade of care and marque- and period-appropriate performance enhancements. The seller whose father, we are told, "raced 250F's with Fangio and Moss for Maserati and still has one." But who apparently doesn't want to pass too much of the tradition along, because he "has a kid on the way and the car needs to go, so he has dropped the price to $55k."

Sell it? That's why they came out with the 2+2 version in the first place. I had to read that a few times before I figured out that it wasn't the father who raced with Fangio and Moss who was having the kid. Because you know that guy wouldn't give a crap that the back seats only have lap belts and no Latch points.
