Even though there's probably an embarrassing formula for calculating just how far from the trending epicenter I am based on how many weeks [months!] it takes me to hear about something like Hipster Ariel, and even though it kind of seems like it played itself out almost instantly, and survives now solely as an ever-expanding wave of giddy novelty that extends farther and farther into non-hipsterdom, I still can't not post about Hipster Ariel.
Oy, it's so over. And I still refuse to get a tumblr. So there. [via the awl]
