I couldn't let my disappointment in the Country Music Wax Museum Coloring Book ruin my day, so I decided to take matters into my own hands.
Page 3: "I focus on the pain..."
I'm currently working through about 25 screenshots from the music video for one of my favorite bedtime songs, Johnny Cash's epic cover version of "Hurt" by the Nine Inch Nails, produced in 2002 by Rick Rubin. [The video is directed by Mark Romanek. Here's the cleanest version I could find.]
I'm sure I could do it more quickly in Photoshop, but I find it rather touching [no pun intended] to trace the images on the iPad. This will take more time, but it should be sadder'n a bankrupt wax museum when it's done.
Maybe I'll release the pages as I complete them. This will be Pages 1 and 2. Or 2 and 3, if I end up including the goblet of fruit at the beginning. Stay tuned.
