This Is One Of The Houses That The Hungry Caterpillar Built

And this is the Audi TT Roadster that Eric drove from Miami to extensively remodel the house that The Hungry Caterpillar built.

And these are the abstract acrylic collages which replaced the white paper on the Ingo Maurer chandelier that lights the open kitchen in the house that The Hungry Caterpillar built.

And this is Eric, whose mom moved the family back to Germany from New York in the 1930's, and whose dad was drafted by the Nazis and became a Russian POW, and whose colorful style, he says, was "inspired by the father he knew before the war," and whose profile in the NY Times kind of hints at why that ladybug is so grouchy, wintering in one of the houses that The Hungry Caterpillar built.
