Anyone who's seen South Park: The Movie knows that the Baldwins are the Archduke Ferdinands of the Apocalypse, and anyone who's seen T-2 knows that kind of foreknowledge can really weigh you down and mess with your head. Who's to say whether any of us could stay sane under that kind of mental pressure?
So I've stayed away from posting anything about Alec Baldwin's voicemail because it's a) kind of embarassing and b) mostly depressing. I mean, how could anyone consider a dad's efforts/excuses to call his daughter "making an ass out of" himself?
And I wouldn't have mentioned this Baldwin-Dora mashup, either. It's concept: funny, execution: slack, voicemail: still-depressing. But then Baldwin's agent at CAA goes and gets all funny about it:
