Last winter, the kid got a pink cashmere acorn cap that my mom knitted for her. It's really plain, awesome, in fact, but the kid didn't quite take to it until very recently. The last few months, she's been wearing the thing all the time. She suddenly decides she hates headbands, so we rely on on the hat to keep her hair out of her food, her eyes, and her face.
She insists on wearing it to school, too. All through school. With her long hair sticking out from under the hat, I recently decided it makes her look like Parappa the Rapper. And so, onto the Christmas shortlist went a Parappa plush toy.
Easier said than done, though. Checking gamer stores like National Console Support shows there are some awesome Parappa plushes, like the Maracas Parappa, but they're mostly listed as sold out. Turns out the best ones are Japanese imports, and inventory is spotty.
Looks like it's off to the eBay we will go, where we buy everything that we know. Oh wait, there's none there, either.

Not sure if I got the "initials" thing correct. Sorry. Hope I'm not in the 25 percentile...
Try www.whimsyload.com, which is Rodney Greenblatt's site, with a shopping area. You might be able to find Parappa stuff there. Email them as well, as they are very nice, and might be able to help you out!
Hope all is well! Best,
