Moms & Dads Are Different: Punky Brewster Edition

After the baby comes, it can feel like a full house. You try to adapt, but in a small space, everyone's just too close for comfort. You may fight over who's the boss, but it's just one of those facts of life that when it comes to parenting, moms and dads have different styles. [Want to learn more? Pete Nelson wrote an article about it in Fit Pregnancy titled, "Different strokes: Dads don't parent like moms, and that's not necessarily a bad thing - family ties."

As in parenting, so in digesting press releases -- and that's not necessarily a bad thing, either. Check out these two posts about a press release a lot of blogs got today about the release of Season 3 of Punky Brewster on DVD:
first, the moms: Celebrity Baby Blog ["And I totally remember the episode where she is a gossip columnist."]
now, the dads: Dadcentric ["I prefer her during her "Punky Boobster" phase, personally."]

Punky Boobster! Brilliant. I'm kicking myself for not coming up with that.
