As NOT Featured At JPMA: The Cardboard Box Stroller

cardboard_box_stroller.jpg

While everyone in the Baby Industrial Complex is chatting each other up in Orlando, talking in funny strollerspeak about the smoothness of "the fold," this stroller is making the rounds of the blogworld. It's a combination of a computer monitor box and what looks like a pram/carriage base (or maybe some kind of vintage universal car seat carrier?)

I remember a while back someone reported on seeing Asian immigrant parents in Queens pushing their kids around in laundry carts with cardboard in the bottom, but now I can't find a picture. [via makezine, thanks to dt reader and dt-to-be john]

I had heard about the new Bugabox but hadn't seen one. That 4-flap folding canopy is awesome.
