Grandpa, Don't Preach

In a continuation of French Day here at Daddy Types, Grandpa John Ritchie says, "Rocco is certainly picking up a lot of French. He speaks it all the time at home because Lourdes is fluent. They talk to each other in French all day, chatting away to each other non-stop.

"It's very funny. Neither Guy nor Madonna speak the language so they cannot understand anything the children are saying. They haven't a clue. It's almost like the kids have their own secret language."

The kids attend London's Lycee Francais.

So, Greg, how about a contest? Best simulated Rocco and Lourdes conversation (that Mom and Dad (step-dad)) can't understand wins a t-shirt?
I'll get my thinking cap on.

I suppose bothering to actually learn a wee bit of french would be far to taxing. As would actually spending time with the children. I mean, why miss a shopping day when nanny is around?

Its like you learn my mind! You seem to understand so
much approximately this, like you wrote the e book in it or something.

I feel that you just can do with a few percent to power
the message home a bit, but other than that, this is magnificent blog.

An excellent read. I will definitely be back.
