When my little lady was littler she would sometimes allow herself to be relaxed by mellow tunes (usually classical guitar or Fado) played via iTunes with the visualizer turned on. Honest. She liked watching the patterns.
I suggest showing your child the 'Esteban' guitar and music lesson infomercial. We keep it on tape, as our daughter just LOVES Esteban, and it is a great way to expose her to differenc cultures too.
