Several DT readers--or should I call them readres--abroad have sent links to the Quinny Buzz, a sleek, new 3-wheeled stroller from the large Netherlands-based childrensgear company.
Visually striking, with a tough seatframe and safety bar floating above a tripod frame, the Buzz looks like the illicit offspring of a Bugaboo's latenight encounter with a Stokke Xplory. But this is one little bastard you can be proud of.
The Buzz's sales pitch begins with an innovative, automatic, one-handed fold/unfold mechanism. If that's unfold-and-go innovation, that's great; it looks like you may have to attach the seat separately. [If I'm skeptical, it's because they also say it's "light" at 12kg, which is like saying a movie ticket is "cheap" at £10.00. Do the math.]
From the movie, at least, the Buzz looks great, like a solid contender for the second generation of cool, ruggedized, dad-friendly strollers. The seat faces forward or backward, like the Frog, and it readily takes my favorite car seat, the Maxi-Cosi Cabrio.
If any euro-dads have firsthand experience with the Buzz, please drop me a line.

Again, almost no web mentions. This Czech stroller site [Yeah, I know, whatever.] says they're available in 2005 for around 13,790 Koruna, which I'm sure everyone calculated in their head before I can even type it ($557). Meanwhile, BabyLaarbeck.nl is taking orders for January delivery (in NL) at EUR369, or $470.
