For now, I am.
My name's Greg Allen. As of February 2004, I'm a new dad to little girl who seems rather unimpressed with my tales of filmmaking, startups, IPO's, global travel and artworld partyhopping. Fortunately, I'm used to it; my wife isn't that impressed by these things, either. What're the odds? Nature vs nurture, indeed.
We live in New York City and Washington, DC, and we are both very active in taking care of our kid. Daddy Types was conceived [sic] as a personal, partial solution to the ridiculous absence of truly dad-friendly perspectives in the baby-making and -raising world. I don't think I'm alone in noticing this gap, and I don't want to be alone in filling it.
Dear Greg,
Just wanted to say 'thanks' for mentioning us a couple of times on your blog. When is someone going to write about you?
Best!
Tien
What a great idea to give some insight for dads. My wife and I are expecting our first baby together and it's enjoyable to know that there are many of the same experiences enjoyed by so many people.
I will enjoy reading and contributing. I have also added your site to the Links section on my site.
