These guys are grossly underestimating 5 year olds... I used to visit kindergartens twice a week when I was an English teacher in Japan, and my guess is around 15... the problem is that you can only see about one-third to one-half of the kids at once, during which the other half can mount an offensive on you from behind. One kid gets his hands in your eyes and it's all over... :)
That's what I was thinking, too. You can't judge five-year-olds by their lack of motivation on a soccer team. Soccer -- how motivating is that? Trying to take out some 30-something year old guy who thinks he can take you -- now THAT's motivating!
I'll agree with you on the 15. And thinking of some of the completely out of control little boys and evil little girls that were in my daughter's kiindergarten class, it could be even lower.
