This Is The Last Thermometer You'll Buy

Yes, you could buy this thermometer pacifier if you want. Even if it's a little off, or your kid doesn't really take to it. It's only like ten bucks, so what the hey.

But either way, I'll tell you right now this Exergen Temporal Artery Thermometer is the last thermometer you'll ever buy, so why not jump right to it?

I broke my ankle last week in a serious standing on ice while people nearby were sledding incident the day before we were supposed to leave Utah. It's a huge pain in the butt, but in the ER, the nurse ran this insane thermometer across my forehead in like one second. that's it. Done. I was like, where do I get one?

This is the civilian version, which works the same way, but costs 90% less. Around $20-30 from various Amazon retailers. And I am certain that by the time this think stops working, all our clothes and beds and hats and wearable computing devices are going to have networked thermometers that turn getting sick and getting well into a gameified surveillance social media health care dystopia, and you will have forgotten the very concept of "buying a thermometer." So enjoy buying this one while you can.
