DT reader Michelle's brother recently scored this interesting-looking toy snake, and we've been stumped trying to figure out anything about it. Does anyone recognize it, either as a product, or perhaps a project/design? Or is it really just one person's innovation?
The snake's about two feet long, and the body is made up of wooden "links," held in place with dowel/pegs. The jaw opens a bit, and the tongue is wiggly by design. The whole thing has a pretty high level of finish that makes it feel like a product, not just a random basement project.
Anyway, if you have any clues or suggestions, or if you've seen one before, too, feel free to chime in.
