In completely unrelated news, oh, look, here is a funny incident from a hardcore offroad course which had just been pwned by the newly redesigned Mercedes Benz GL350 Bluetec:
As I park, a guy on an all-terrain vehicle rides up and informs me that spectators were loudly wondering why there was "a minivan" on the off-road track. Beer cans may have been thrown in disgust.I love that minivan and SUV are each slams for the other camp.
Meanwhile, the GL350 diesel really sounds like an impressive and surprisingly authentic performance vehicle. Which, considering how much I've disliked staring down its bloated predecessor in the preschool pickup line, is quite a turnaround for me.
