In addition to Queen Victoria's silk bloomers and stockings, the November 1 sale at Glasgow auction house Lyon and Turnbull includes this rocking ram, made by noted Chelesa folly architect Vernon Gibberd.
Lyon and Turnbull are selling the entire contents of the London home of the late magazine publisher Malcolm Forbes, which Gibberd apparently helped restore at some point. The rocking sheep pictured on Gibberd's website has the wool coat fitted neatly around its body.
But the skin on Forbes's ram can be removed, so you can ride bareback. I guess he liked it both ways.
