Amazing Grace, 1993, Nari Ward, installed with a painting by Christopher Wool and a poster shitshow by M/M Paris at the Palais de Tokyo in 2005.
Amazing Grace is a 1993 sculpture/installation by the US artist Nari Ward. It consists of 280 old strollers entwined with canvas firehose, and arranged to form a lozenge-shaped path. Which must offer a stunning view from above. From the closeups in the clip of its 2007 exhibition at the Kunsthalle in Vienna, though, it is just freaking me out.
Compared to the rest of Dakis Joannou's collection, though, it's only about the 50th percentile, freak-o-meter-wise.
