This incredible 4x9-ft yarn art panel was apparently a gift to the Kansas City Public School System in the 1970s. It was made by special education students to celebrate mainstreaming.
And now that the public school system is being dismantled and privatized and the teachers' unions outlawed, some Nickelodeon-sponsored charter school can finally clear house and pawn all that kumbaya crap off onto the hippie commies in San Francisco.
Or something, I have no idea. The Bay Area antique dealer's description doesn't go beyond the "celebrate mainstreaming" part.
