Sheesh, if there's one thing this country could really use it's less Norman Rockwell.
If there's two things, it's a chance for this kid to grow up in a supportive and loving environment free from bullying and fear so that he can dance in the Pan Pacifics or ride across the outback on top of an RV in drag, or do whatever it is that brings him the most happiness and personal fulfillment.
It gets better. Also this book is long out of print.
