Are there some PR scientists somewhere who decide that sending out press releases on Tuesday gives enough time to make it on the editorial calendar for The Sunday Papers or whatever for the next two weeks, which is when you want your stories with Father's Day hooks to drop?
Because I've seen easily 4x as many publicist pitches today as I have any day in the last two weeks. And they're all, "Special Promo! Brazilians for Father's Day!"
