Ernesto Neto's Playwomb At The Park Avenue Armory

One of the most beautiful kid-friendly art installations the kid has been to was Ernesto Neto's From What Are We Made, Made Of Of , which he showed at Tanya Bonakdar Gallery in late 2006. I got a ton of great, otherworldly, fun photos of the kid wandering around what was essentially a giant, padded lightbox, stacking squishy artbeanbags, and just generally having a blast.

Now Neto's back, and bigger than ever. He just opened a giant, multi-room, multi-tunnel installation at the Park Avenue Armory called anthropodino, though it might as well be called the Netoland Playwomb and Lycratorium. There's even a ball pit.

For ten bucks a head [kids 18+under are free!] I'd certainly hope so.
