Hieroglyphic Peter Rabbit At The British Museum

hieroglyphic_peter_rabbit.jpg

As if Peter Rabbit weren't anachronistic enough, what with all the "presentlys" and cucumber frames and fortnights and whatwhat, a couple of Egyptologists at the British Museum have translated the text faithfully [sic] into hieroglyphics. The sign for "whom" is probably a seated man picking at a nit.

The Tale of Peter Rabbit Hieroglyph Edition is £7 at the British Museum Shop [britishmuseumshoponline.org via coolhunting, thanks dt reader rolf]
