Laser Print Your Bugaboo

make_laser_leatherman.jpg

Wow, with this special metal marking ceramic spray-on glaze, you can laser print any design you want onto a metal surface in no time at all.

Alls you need is:

  • the spray [$65 a can]
  • a Bugaboo [Frog and Gecko handles have more printable metal surface area. Ironic, huh?], and
  • a CO2 laser connected to a computer with Corel Draw installed

Just make your template, spray the stuff on, let it dry, manually focus your laser on a well-bracketed mount, fire it up, and wash the residue off. Piece of cake! [see details at make magazine's blog]
