At ICFF, there was a pair of GIGANTIC ramen-bowl-shaped tubs--Dutch Tubs, they're called--right at the entrance. They're heated by wood, which is placed in a coiled pipe thing that sticks out the side. "Crazy Dutch, what'll they think of next?" I said to myself.
Then suddenly a photo of a German dad giving his kid her first bath in a Tummy Tub showed up in the flickr dads&babies photo pool, and it all came back to me.
Suddenly the Dutch penchant for unconventional bathing apparatuses makes sense again.
