Apocalypse Pooh, VHS-era Mashup

"Saigon. I'm still only in Saigon."

You gotta love an Apocalypse Now mashup, especially if it looks like it was done on VHS in an era when this kind of mediahacking was so time-consuming, it probably delayed someone's graduation by a semester.

And especially when it transposes Martin Sheen's Willard with Winnie The Pooh and Dennis Hopper's crazed photojournalist with a fidgety piglet. Yes, Apocalypse Pooh is pretty funny, even if the opening credits go on like three times too long. If I was a boomer, I'd say it was the whole MTV generation and their jumpy editing-induced ADD, but I think it's just an amateur thing: the intros to all the podcasts I listened to yesterday were the same way.
