I'm all for carrying your kid, keeping her close, etc. etc. I may not be so into it that I'd get all in your face about it the way some Metafilterites have in this thread, though. Interspersed with some decent perspectives and advice are some awesome screeds about generations of stroller-bound children being the source of crime and American imperialist hegemony [seriously].
But I'd be the first to tell you that if you really insist for a shoulder strap to lash your carseat, you can make this one yourself for a helluvalot less than $24.95.
