Ah, The Good Old Days Of Prospect Park

It seems like it was just yesterday when Prospect Park--hell, when 2/3 of New York City--was sketchy and dangerous, and people would set fires in garbage cans and in parked cars just for fun, which would eventually burn itself out, leaving behind a charred hulk of metal on the street that didn't get picked up for months, if ever.

Oh, waitaminnit, it WAS yesterday:

Those of you lamenting the sanitized, homogenized, baby-pushing Prospect Heights: 2005 Edition can take solace in the fact that a car was torched and abandoned near the Newswalk condos on Dean Street on Friday night.
