AF Dad Phones It In From Qatar

Air Force mechanic John Markin rounded up 700 min. worth of phone cards so that he could call into the entire labor & delivery of his second child back in Indiana last week. [A momentary hats off to his wife, Jenny, by the way, who only had to go through oh, 700 minutes of delivery...]

Markins is on a three-month deployment, so I'm guessing this was all worked out in advance, unless he doesn't like to talk about this kind of stuff. Jenny?

"He tried not to talk about it too much," she said. "That's how he deals with things - he avoids them." OK, then...
