This Is Serious. The Mercedes 300 SEL 6.3 Wagon Is For Sale.

The only station wagon ever made from the "greatest sedan in the world" is for sale.

The Mercedes 300 SEL 6.3 is the last of the handbuilt Mercedes. And the 300 SEL 6.3 station wagon made to order for 6.3meister Karl Middelhauve is the only one.

As legendary racer/restorer Tivvy Shendon told the local paper in 2010, "It's well known in the Mercedes world that this car exists, but they don't know where." Well, now we do.

It's in Shendon's garage. He finally bought it off of his longtime client. And I guess even Shendon's stove only has so many backburners, because he has put the car up for sale.

"Car has been sitting and needs attention in a few areas," says the ad, which should pretty much nip any haggling over the $36,000 price tag initiation fee in the bud. "A serious car for the serious Mercedes collector."

Seriously, maybe it's time to take another look at public school.

Why, if there is only one, does the license plate say "Only 2"?

Yeah, I don't know, I wondered that, too.

..and where is it available?

There is/was one in Sweden. A white example owned by the then Swedish importer, a mr Philipsson. I saw that car a few years ago, and he claimed THAT was the only one made by the factory....

Could you tell me how much you are asking.
Thank you

How much you are asking?
Thank u

sorry to do this to you, but this post was from 2011; I assume the car is long gone, but you have enough info above to track it down if you like.
