Es ist nur eine Frage der Zeit

Yes, it is just a matter of time before the kid outgrows all that giant plastic crap you buy you end up selling it from a vacant lot in Tejas.

See the full-sized image, and several other installation shots of Artpace's awesome, statewide Felix Gonzalez-Torres billboard retrospective, at This is Tomorrow.

Felix Gonzalez-Torres: Billboards, on view across Texas, thanks to Artpace [thisistomorrow.info via @AndrewRusseth]

I clearly have not spent enought time here. You have great concise posts and feature cool, designy, kid, hip stuff. Love it.

but what does the german phrase on the billboard signify? The scene is from el paso texas, several billboards appeared with this obscure message, no explanation during 2010. Any bodyknow?

If only someone somewhere had posted a link on a blog, maybe with an explanation of what it was. But then how would you find it? Maybe it's just a matter of time.
