Vintage Plywood Rocker Surfaces In Microsoft Ad

microsoft_kids_rocker.jpg

As his mind was lost in thought, calculating how much toner the kid in this Microsoft Windows * commercial is burning through, eagle-eyed DT reader Erik was snapped back to reality by this nice, vintage-looking, kid-sized plywood rocking chair.

If I had to guess--and I do, since I can't find a picture of it anywhere--I'd say it was homemade from plans in a magazine, probably around 1970, the Summer of Jigsaw Love, when in the world was just going nuts, cutting out circles in plywood. The rest of that stuff looks like reproduction.
