Daddy Types Advertisers Are All Fresh Vintage

Thanks to the advertisers this week at Daddy Types, who entertain, inform, and entice, while keeping it fresh:

  • Lux programmable thermostats such as the EnergyStar-certified CAG1500 CleanCycle: hot, but not too hot. And energy efficient to boot.
  • Service Employees International Union, who have several bones to pick with Toys R Us and its private equity overlords at Kohlberg Kravis Roberts. The one on the table at the moment is with efforts by KKR's portfolio companies on the product toxicity front.
  • Smart TV Alliance, a consortium of non-profit institutions who are probably a little bummed that South Park: The Movie ["'cause the TV teaches us what our parents don’t have time to say."] is so spot-on.
  • Chronicle Books, who are sponsoring an awesome-looking Taro Gomi Doodles contest. The kid loves Gomi's giant Doodles books, and so do I. So much that we paid retail for them, and we give them as gifts, and I don't mind sounding like a total shill when Gomi's publisher bought an ad like a year later.
  • Sparkability, purveyor of better things for kids and babies, such as the recently-put-on-sale Ooba crib, which is about as good as it gets, molded ply crib-wise.

If you're even half as awesome, efficient, concerned, stylish, or aggrieved, why not let Daddy Types readers know about it? Check here for details.
