Wow, he's not just for marshmallow sofas and whimsical nursery clocks anymore. Because it's never too early to learn how to take a memo, Herman Miller produced a child-sized version of George Nelson's secretary desk.

This example is in "original condition" and looks beautiful. Which is good, because at $1,450, it's as much or more than similar adult-sized Nelson desks fetch at auction. If it's too rich for your blood, just say you're holding out for a kid-sized, L-shaped Executive Desk instead.

Sweet. Now you only need to get the vintage child-sized Noguchi table on 1stdibs.com (a steal for only $1900) as a "Lego Table" and your kid's set...
