Tis The Season To Kill Time Clicking Through Scared Of Santa Photo Galleries

scared_of_santa_latimes.jpg

Dumber than a sacka hammers? Funnier'na gallery of Scared of Santa photos.

The LA Times has gotten in on the tradition started by the Chicago Tribune and added to by the folks at SouthFlorida.com, by getting their readers to submit Scared of Santa photos. [And so far, it looks like half submitted someone else's photo. Personally, I wonder if the kid above isn't crying over the hat.]

We're heading out of town this afternoon, and unless Google's set up a village-wide wireless network in France, posting'll be a once-a-day affair at best. [I will be posting my Mercedes B-Class test drive, though, so stay tuned.]

So if I don't see you, Merry Christmas, Happy Hannukah, Happy Solstice, whatever you got, I hope it's happy and peaceful, and may all your little tax deductions be born by Dec. 31.

Add the Austin, Texas paper to the list.

yeah, those contests have a pretty major flaw.

if you read the terms of service, the LA Times reserves all royalty-free rights including for marketing and advertising purposes.

that means when you submit a killer photo of your kid absolutely petrified with santa, you might see his image selling newspapers on a bus stop one day.

(I am a pro photographer and couldn't resist turning the camera on my son and his santa-phobia. DT readers can see the photos online here)
