Dear Upper West Side parents with the blue Bugaboo Cameleon with red canopy and the 6-9mo boy whose middle-aged Latina nanny was driving next to us near the Gracious Home store at 67th & Broadway at a still-chilly 9:30 in the morning:
TELL THAT WOMAN TO PUT SOME SOCKS ON THAT KID.

posted by: dutch at March 29, 2006 12:08 AMseriously, my kid runs hot and is usually slung to boot, which results in both of us feeling like we are attached to a furnace. and still in southern california, i am constantly told to put on him a hat and socks!
i guess its different in NYC in the winter, though

Plus, if this kid is anything like my kid (or like me), he probably thinks socks are of the devil: constricting, icky, ugh.
