Babywear B-- Wow, All I Can Say Is Wow--Babywear Bouquets From The Flower Stork

flower_stork.jpgAfter witnessing the sheer and utter awesomeness that is The Flower Stork's selection of Babywear Bouquets--socks, bodysuits, pj's, bibs, and the all-important muslin square [?], all artfully arranged to look like flowers, and reminiscent, perhaps, of the rose you made from a bar napkin that helped you bag the babe in the first place, hmm?--I know one thing for sure: I'll never buy another diaper cake again.

The Flower Stork Babywear Bouquets range from 29.50-59.90, "(including VAT)" [theflowerstork.com via jan from kidsrepublic.nl]

Seems to be a UK thing - I've had www.babyblooms.co.uk bookmarked and awaiting use for a few months now.

and muslin squares ARE essential! (always wondered how people have kids without them..)

[?? please do go on... -ed.]

over-shoulder burp cloths
dribble catchers
face wipes
bibs (for them or you)
roll up and use to make highchairs etc more comfortable
comfort blanket
nappy (with wrap) for newborns
as booster in stuffable nappies
distracting wandering hands whilst feeding
keeping crumbs off head of child in sling
discreet breastfeeding
use as clean place to put child down (eg when changing out & about)
soak in cammomile tea & use instead of baby wipes for nappy rash
swaddling
dab with Karvol / essential oil & hang on radiator for bunged noses
in bra to combat leakage
rolled and wedged under breast to get nipple pointing right way...

should I go on?

also emergency sunhat
as draw sheet protecting bedding from sicky baby
make into rabbit to amuse fretful child
handkerchiefs
w toothpaste to clean teeth of toothbrush haters
lining car seats in summer
with Eve Lom-type cleanser (to my shame)
teether
furniture protector
sunshade for pram or car
tie piece of apple in muslin for babies who want finger food but choke on lumps
general kitchen straining use!

Well done that man for highlighting the flower stork earlier in the month!!!

Earlier in the week my wife gave me the rather ominous task of buying "a unique present" for my mate who has just had twins. Now call me pessimistic but I think this may of been an attempt to see me shoot myself in the foot with a view to her being let loose with my credit card on future gift buying excursions.

I remembered the link from earlier and ordered their "Candy Stripe" Flower Pail - a babywear bouquet made specifically for twins.

I never had to leave the house, the gift arrived perfectly, feedback from my mate and his wife was fantastic and best of all - my credit card lives to fight another day!!!!
