The "What Is Clement Holding?" Contest, or Good Night Photoshoppers Everywhere:

clement_hurd_shooter.jpg

When Scott "found" this image on the back cover of his kid's copy of Goodnight Moon, he inadvertently became the first entry in the Daddy Types "What is Clement Holding?" Photoshop contest.

Let's keep them safe for work, but otherwise, send in or post a link to your altered alternatives for this bookjacket photo of GM illustrator Clement Hurd, which used to show Hurd with a cigarette in his hand.

Previously: Goodnight, Cigarette

Brian: "Who knew, that much like Arthur 'Killer' Kane, that Clement replaced his 'Good Night Moon' rock 'n' roll lifestyle with being a Mormon, hence the future smoke-less picture?" Eric: "The world is round and so are Clements biceps."

Cam: "That's so disrespectful to do that to a great man like... oh, what? Um... I just realised my version has a different photo too...

Well, look at that. Clement was holding a Skip*Hop Duo in Camo, $56 at skiphop.com

Jay: it wasn't the bong, it was licensing; the Seuss people wanted a fortune to clear the hat.

Sorry... :)

[yeah, the comments can't handle tags (who knew?); just paste in the link, and I'll code it in by hand up top. -ed.]

Wow, who knew that daddytypes had so many folks from NORML stopping by?

It seems Clement also like to carry the world's most compact folding stroller.

[finally, I was wondering what he rolled. -ed.]

Oh, and if this is a democracy: Cam wins. :)

Thanks, but I have an unfair advantage... I live in Canada so you see bongs in shop windows all the time... it just seemed so natural. :)

The Book of Mormon photo FTW. Very funny. I may use it for my next FHE lesson.
